2019 marked Livox’s foray into the LiDAR industry, and winning that honor in such a short time has been an incredible recognition given by the market, clients, and the entire industry.
Livox has recently received the honor of being named one of the 2019 KPMG China Leading AutoTech 50. 2019 marked Livox’s foray into the LiDAR industry, and winning that honor in such a short time has been an incredible recognition given by the market, clients, and the entire industry.
Despite 2020 being a difficult year for the LiDAR industry, Livox is confident in providing better solutions in terms of ecosystem, algorithms, and products. We would like to take this opportunity to show our appreciation to the entire industry for their trust in Livox.
A world-renowned professional service institution, KPMG began releasing the AutoTech 50 list in 2017 and is highly regarded in the industry. It is also worth mentioning that many co-listed autonomous driving start-ups such as TuSimple and PlusAI have become Livox clients over the past year.
Livox products feature two ground-breaking technologies: non-repetitive horizontal scanning patterns and sophisticated photoelectric design schemes. These two technologies have solved multiple problems faced by traditional LiDAR sensors once and for all, making Livox products durable, reliable, and accessible. Mass production ensures stable supply, lowering the price below $1,000, a tenth of the price of most traditional LiDAR sensors. Livox aims to lower the threshold of LiDAR technologies and promote the commercialization of autonomous driving.
The Livox Horizon and Tele-15 high-performance LiDAR units launched in early 2020 are exclusively designed for L3/L4 autonomous driving vehicles. In just a few months, these two products have been ordered by top autonomous driving companies in China and the US. Livox has also been the nominated supplier of automobile OEMs home and abroad for preloaded mass production.
Thanks to the high performance-to-price ratio, Livox has also begun work closely with partners from security and protection, surveying and mapping, intelligent transportation, and mobile robotics.
Livox strives to become the leading LiDAR innovator in new infrastructure industries, continuing to provide more accessible, high-performance and stable LiDAR products for Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure Systems (CVIS), intelligent transportation, and the upcoming autonomous driving era. In addition to advanced hardware, Livox also plans to release more SDK tools and open-source algorithms making it even easier for users to implement our innovative products and develop high-efficiency systems.
