Hi-Target Launches SLAM RTK V700S with Livox Mid-360

2025-12-9

The Hi-Target V700S SLAM RTK System integrates a high-precision RTK positioning module, the Livox Mid-360 LiDAR sensor, a high-precision inertial sensor, and a global shutter color camera. These sensors work together seamlessly, enhanced by intelligent algorithms. As a result, the system not only maintains RTK-level accuracy, but also delivers precise coordinate information even in environments with weak or no satellite signal.

Recently, Hi-Target Navigation Technology Corporation launched the all-new V700S SLAM RTK System. Equipped with the Livox Mid-360 LiDAR sensor, this system supports omnidirectional scanning and enables seamless data collection on the move, delivering high-precision results even in areas with weak or no GNSS signal.

Accurate Surveying Even Without GNSS Signal

Traditional RTK devices rely on satellite signals. In typical scenarios where GNSS signals are blocked, such as underground parking lots, under overpasses, or in dense forests, these devices often fail or suffer from severely degraded accuracy, leading to workflow interruptions or rework.

More Flexible and Efficient Operations

It’s worth noting that the Mid-360 LiDAR sensor installed on the V700S plays a crucial role. Its 360° horizontal field of view ensures no blind spots, while its non-repetitive scanning pattern generates a complete point cloud even when the device is stationary. Additionally, the Mid-360 offers a detection range of 40 meters at 10% reflectivity, ensuring comprehensive point cloud collection within this distance.

With the support of the Mid-360 LiDAR sensor, the V700S SLAM RTK System delivers outstanding performance across a variety of environments. when operating outdoors, the high-precision RTK module delivers centimeter-level accuracy. In GNSS-denied areas, such as under bridges or eaves, the system automatically switches to laser-based positioning, ensuring uninterrupted data capture.

As a result, engineers no longer need to repeatedly search for signals during tasks such as engineering surveys. Data collection and stakeout become much more flexible and efficient.

In addition, the V700S SLAM RTK System continues to support all traditional RTK functions, such as CAD stakeout, surface stakeout, and earthwork calculation. It also offers SLAM capabilities, making it suitable for a wide range of engineering applications.

The launch of the V700S SLAM RTK System by Hi-Target marks not just a technological upgrade, but a fundamental transformation of engineering surveying practices. By making “no signal means no measurement” a thing of the past, it brings the industry more flexible, efficient, and reliable solutions. Looking ahead, as LiDAR RTK technology becomes more widespread, surveying and construction in complex environments will enter a new era of intelligence.

Livox

Livox Technology Company Limited (Livox) is an independent company founded through DJI's internal incubation program and dedicated to the development of 3D lidar technology.

Livox was founded in 2016 with the resolve to break through technological barriers in the lidar industry and reduce the threshold for mass production by producing high-quality, reliable, and cost-efficient lidar sensors that can be applied in a wide range of fields, including the automotive industry, smart cities, surveying and mapping, and mobile robots.

Over the past few years, Livox has applied for 587 patents for its unique sensor designs and rotating mirror hybrid solid-state lidar technology. Since the Mid product series was rolled out in January 2019, Livox has served more than 1500 customers, from 26 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, China, Japan, and the European Union.
