Recently, Livox and Dreame Technology officially announced the completion of the first phase of our three-year strategic partnership. As of February 2025, Livox has delivered a total of 100,000 Mid-360 LiDAR units, with plans to deliver over one million units in the next three years. These LiDAR sensors will be widely integrated into Dreame’s full range of smart lawn mowers, covering more than 100 countries and regions across the high-end markets of Europe and North America.

This achievement not only demonstrates the commercial potential of our technological integration, but also redefines the global competitiveness of Chinese smart manufacturing in the outdoor intelligent cleaning sector.

Since its global debut in April 2024, the Dreame A1 smart lawn mower, equipped with the Livox Mid-360 LiDAR, has made a remarkable breakthrough in the high-end markets of Europe and North America. The A1 has achieved strong sales both online and offline across key European countries such as Germany, France, and Italy, as well as in North America and Australia. In just a few months, it has surpassed 10,000 units sold and generated over 100 million RMB in sales revenue.

• During the 2024 Prime Day, the A1 achieved a GMV of 20 million RMB in Southwestern Europe, and became the No.1 product in the European market for the price segment above 1,000 euros.

• In February 2025, the A1 reached the milestone of 100,000 units shipped.

With its outstanding technological capabilities and design aesthetics, the Dreame A1 smart lawn mower received both the "Best in Show" award from leading North American home media The Ambient and the "CES Innovation Award" from House Digest at CES 2024, solidifying its position in the industry.

    Dreame A1

At IFA 2024, the Dreame A1 and Dreame’s self-developed OmniSense™ 3D Perception System received the "Goldene Computer 2024 – Innovation Award" from Germany’s leading media outlet COMPUTER BILD.  The editor-in-chief commented:

"With its OmniSense technology, the Dreame Robotic Mower A1 can recognize lawns without the need for boundary wires, making it an especially practical assistant for everyday use."

      Dreame Robotic Mower A1

To address the common issues of signal loss and weak obstacle avoidance in traditional lawn mowers, Dreame Technology independently developed the OmniSense™ 3D Perception System. Combined with the Mid-360 LiDAR, this system can perceive more information in three-dimensional space and integrates multiple functions such as mapping, positioning, and obstacle avoidance. This significantly improves signal stability, enhances mowing efficiency, and ensures that no area is missed during operation.

Equipped with the OmniSense™ 3D Perception System and the high-precision Mid-360 LiDAR, the Dreame A1 smart lawn mower further enhances its positioning and obstacle avoidance accuracy. It can identify more than ten common types of obstacles in the yard and achieve centimeter-level precision in obstacle avoidance when encountering them.

At the same time, its integrated 3D high-precision LiDAR sensor enables comprehensive perception of the yard and rapid map creation, allowing users to customize different mowing zones according to their preferences. In terms of mowing performance, the A1 features advanced U-shaped path planning, achieving exceptional uniformity and cutting quality. It can fully maintain a spacious yard of up to 1,000 square meters in just 24 hours.

     Dreame

At IFA 2024, Dreame Technology’s upgraded A2 robotic lawn mower attracted significant attention. Building on the foundation of the A1, the A2 introduces multiple innovations, including AI vision technology and advanced outdoor environment algorithms, to create the upgraded OmniSense™ 2.0 3D Perception System. This system not only enhances 3D environmental awareness, but also intelligently distinguishes between grass and non-grass areas, enabling users to easily set fully automatic boundaries without complex wiring. The A2’s 3D LiDAR extends its detection range to 70 meters, and its 360° x 59° omnidirectional field of view ensures stable operation day and night, even in highly obstructed environments. For medium to large yards up to 3,000 square meters, the A2 can build real-time 3D maps, achieve automatic navigation and precise positioning, and deliver truly intelligent, autonomous mowing.

    OmniSense™ 2.0 AI vision technology

In terms of safety, the OmniSense™ 2.0 AI vision technology significantly enhances the A2’s obstacle detection capabilities, enabling it to identify various small objects and ensure the safety of both family members and pets. Beyond being a mowing tool, the A2 also serves as an intelligent guardian for the yard. Users can monitor the yard environment in real time, set up patrol tasks, and receive alerts in case of unusual human activity, further strengthening yard security.

    Dreame

With the technological breakthroughs of the A1 and A2 series, Dreame Technology has leveraged its strong technical capabilities and deep scenario insights to make a significant impact in the smart lawn mower market. The delivery of 100,000 units through the strategic partnership with Livox has validated the industrial value of technological integration, redefining the global competitiveness of Chinese smart manufacturing in the outdoor intelligent sector. Looking ahead, Livox and Dreame will continue to deepen their collaboration, aiming for the milestone of one million units. Together, the two companies will further advance AI vision, environmental perception, and ecosystem data integration to deliver more efficient and intelligent next-generation outdoor cleaning solutions for users worldwide.
